We Have Something For Every Step of Your Journey!
Whether you are just beginning your fertility path or have been walking
it for years, we will provide you with the time and education needed to
plan your next step. We have many patients that come to us right
before an IVF cycle or IUI procedure and we can still do a lot at this
phase in treatment. Ideally, we work to fully balance your body mind
and spirit to prepare you and support you through this journey. Since
it takes three months for follicular development and
spermatogenesis, it is ideal to have you, and
ideally your partner, fully exposed to the healing benefits of
acupuncture, herbs, supplements and Maya
Abdominal Massage so your body mind and spirit
are properly nourished.

Or if you are about to begin Assisted Reproductive Technologies, we can help balance your system and enhance your fertility.
Acupuncture has the highest success rates
treating hormonal imbalances, disorders of ovulation (including
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, PCOS), endometriosis, unexplained
infertility, and low sperm counts. Acupuncture in conjunction with
Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) can often yield the most optimal
results for patients with more complicated situations. While many
patients choose to receive acupuncture the day of an IVF procedure, it
is optimal to come in for treatments at least three months before so we
can have your body and your follicles at optimal health.
Acupuncture will not only decrease the stress
response and stimulate blood flow to the uterus and thicken uterine
lining, but also help to regulate your hormones to produce larger number
of follicles and better quality of eggs for a healthier baby and
decreased chances of miscarriage. Acupuncture will also help with the
side effects of IVF drugs and strengthen your immune system.
Acupuncture and herbs will also support men
for decreased sperm count, motility and morphology, low libido, stress
and overall balance.

Infertility and Maya Abdominal Massage
The bloodstream carries a
number of messages form the ovaries and uterus to the brain and back to
the ovaries that are supposed to trigger release of a chemical called
follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). The FSH will cause an egg to be
matured by the ovaries swept along into the fallopian tube where it
awaits the sperm, and then into the uterus. This entire process relies
on the proper hemodynamic flow of blood in both partners. Where
circulation encounters congestion or pressure from misplaced organs,
elements in the blood, such as hormones cannot arrive at their
destination.
Excess amounts of circulating
estrogen will short circuit the hormonal feedback mechanism between
reproductive organs and the brain, causing improper amounts of the two
hormones to be made. Malfunction, irregularity, and chaos result.
Failure to Ovulate
Ovulation is another
hormonally controlled function of the female body that relies on
hemodynamics. When the dropped uterus is exerting undue pressure on the
channels of life force (arteries, veins, lymph, nerve, and qi) the
chemical feedback mechanism of the hormones is out of harmony. Hormones
are not produced at the right time or are over produced at the wrong
time, causing ovulation to be arbitrary and unreliable.
Proper realignment of the uterus aids in restoring hemostasis
